We have had the most wonderful time celebrating a big birthday for my son . The Harpy is perfect for families in a wonderful position with exceptional views. Always something interesting to see on the river, lovely to sit on deck with a glass of wine and watch London light up .Jan the housekeeper was extremely helpful even posting something I left behind. Super comfy beds and the boat is very cosy. Superb position with so much to explore close by. I highly recommend it for something completely different.
The Harpy is every bit as good as it looks in listings and photos, PLUS it is furnished with more amenities than are even listed. The adventure of living on a houseboat is extremely cool on its own, but doing so on a houseboat that is located at China Wharf looking directly a Tower Bridge in an area where people are flocking to from all around London to come and enjoy the restaurants and Thames river is even more spectacular. Our family of 5 (3 kids = 10yr, 13yr, 16yr) stayed for 8 days and also had a friend with her 9yr old and 13yr old kids stay for a few nights. This boat never felt crowded and kids all had a total blast. There is a ton to do ON and off the boat. Andrew (owner) & Jan (property manager) were extremely communicative, helpful and clear. We hope to return soon!

Came to visit with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday. This place is absolutely amazing!!! So glad we found it. Absolutely made our London trip! The space, the views, the area and facilities are perfect with absolutely everything thought of and provided by the owner. Very organised, smooth arrival, perfect stay. Wonderful to see The Harpy again, beautifully transformed from a Waterguard Station into an amazing houseboat.Our family were awestruck by the London skyline by night, the houseboats position could not be bettered. A highlight was seeing Tower Bridge open several times in one day to let vessls through. The staff could not have been more helpful. Thank you for allowing us to share this beatiful houseboat.
What an wonderful and unique find. The Harpy was a wonderful experience and I enjoyed every moment aboard. It had everything we needed and the boat itself was stunning. A great time celebrating with our magnanimous bride 👰🏼♀️ staying up late, cocktails 🍸 and brilliant conversation. Definitely recommend this Gem of a find.
